REFUND POLICY
Because of the planning and financial commitments involved in putting on our retreat programs, we are unable to give you a refund if you need to withdraw after accepting your spot in the program. When you pay your participation fee, your participation is considered confirmed.
If, after confirming your participation, you need to withdraw from the program for any reason (this includes personal and/or company changes, accessibility issues, etc.), we will credit a portion of your fee to a future program as follows:
Should you withdraw more than 30 days in advance: credit for 100% of your fee towards participation in a future program (within 1 year of your withdrawal)
Should you withdraw less than 30 days and more than 14 days in advance: credit for 50% of your fee towards participation in a future program (within 1 year of your withdrawal)
Should you withdraw less than 14 days in advance: credit for 25% of your fee towards participation in a future program (within 1 year of your withdrawal), unless you are paying your tuition using an installment payment plan, in which case no credit or refund will be given
If we do not believe that the group can meet safely unmasked indoors due to heightened COVID concerns or mandated indoor mask-wearing, we will cancel the retreat and offer you the option of receiving a full refund or transferring your participation fee to a future retreat. We will make every effort to cancel the retreat with sufficient notice so that you can modify any related travel bookings. However, due to the ever-changing COVID landscape, we reserve the right to cancel the retreat up to and including the morning of the retreat. LIT is not responsible for paying any non-refundable travel costs you may incur.
If you are unable to participate in a retreat due to contracting COVID or being exposed to someone who has contracted COVID within 5 days of your retreat date, we will transfer your participation fee to a future retreat (within 1 year of your withdrawal).
Please note: the size and diversity of the group is critical to ensuring the best experience possible for all participants.
Participants are encouraged to take a COVID test before coming to their retreat, and to take precautions to minimize the possibility of exposure in the days leading up to the retreat.
We require testing for some of our retreats, as some of our participants and facilitators are immunocompromised. If COVID testing is required for your retreat, you will be notified in advance. Upon arrival for the first day of the retreat, all participants will take an antigen test provided by LIT.
Should any participants feel unwell during a retreat and be concerned that they might have COVID, LIT will provide them with an antigen test.In the retreats we've led since COVID began, we have not had anyone test positive during a retreat. That said, we think it's important to be clear about what will happen if someone does test positive. Here is our protocol:
